Red-headed Honeyeater

Scientific Name:

Myzomela erythrocephala

Sometimes spotted flitting along the creekline and around the big billabong. The male's red head and rump are unmissable against the greens and whites of our native trees but the female's much subtler fawn colouring and rosy blush are just as beautiful to behold.
